Building on her signature grunge-inspired style, Billie Eilish delivered a fresh look that captures the aesthetic on her trip to Asia. The "everything i wanted" singer shared a carousel of images with fans on Instagram on Aug. 17, the first of which consisted of an oversize black sweater over a pair of denim Bermuda shorts. Finished with Converse platform sneakers styled with black socks and a Harley Davidson baseball cap, Eilish looked comfortable and cool posing onstage. Her choppy dark hairstyle only added to the edgy theme.

"Asia's been cuuute 🤗 see you tonight ;)" she captioned the gallery, which included a few more outfits in fitting with her neutral colour palette, including one graphic coord set that brings to mind the graffiti print shirt and cycling shorts she performed in at Coachella in April, which were created by designer Conrad. Eilish exuded the same tough, yet effortless vibe in a floor-sweeping black robe shown on the final slide of the carousel post.

Bermuda shorts are considered a divisive trend as many take a stance either in favour of or against the knee-grazing style. While some find the look chic and sophisticated, others feel the trend lost its cool factor once short shorts became more popular. Nonetheless, the style dominated the runway in the '90s at major fashion houses like Chanel and Prada — and it is once again enjoying a resurgence today.

While the 20-year-old singer/songwriter brought a casual twist to '90s grunge with these looks, she occasionally opts for sultrier silhouettes. Most recently, she rocked a plunging green bodysuit and thigh-high slip dress that showcased her range. And her memorable Gucci ensemble at the Met Gala in May, complete with a satin corset and ivory bustled skirt, was an unexpected take on the regencycore trend.

Whether she's performing onstage or resting in-between shows, Eilish certainly prioritises comfort, no matter what she's wearing. Recreate her latest look ahead.
