Leave it to Gigi Hadid to make a controversial trend look new again. On 6 July, the model stepped out wearing capris for her friend Leah McCarthy's's birthday in New York City. The calf-length denim trousers immediately elicited flashbacks to the early '00s, drawing to mind some of the more questionable fashion choices of the Y2K era.
