Kate Middleton has traded in her signature midi dresses for a refreshing switch on her royal wardrobe this Autumn, welcoming quintessential trousers into her rotation. While visiting the Vsi Razom Community Hub in Bracknell on 4 Oct., the newly appointed princess stepped out in a grey mock-neck sweater vest from Cefinn, layered over a classic white collared button-down shirt. She teamed the sophisticated pairing with coordinating wool trousers from Sézane and her go-to J.Crew Avery heels in plaid tweed. Middleton, 41, went the subtle accessory route with Shyla's pearl gold earrings, revealed as her layered hair and curtain bangs blew lightly in the wind.
Similarly to her sister-in-law Meghan Markle, Middleton often draws inspiration from Princess Diana's style handbook. Most recently, she re-created one of Diana's most iconic looks in a green blazer with a white lapel and a white pleated skirt for Wimbledon 2023, just like her late mother-in-law wore at Trooping the Colour in 1988. Middleton also honoured her at the same event this past June by wearing her beloved sapphire and diamond earrings and an Andrew Gn green suit. She most famously wore a blue-and-white polka-dot Jenny Packham dress when returning home from giving birth to Prince George in 2013, highly reminiscent of Diana's appearance in a green-and-white Catherine Walker dress outside the hospital with Prince William 31 years earlier.
Middleton's everyday personal style is just as noteworthy. She's cemented herself as the royal-family outfit repeater, most notably rewearing her white Alexander McQueen suit on multiple occasions throughout 2022.
