Kim Kardashian Takes the Ripped Jeans Trend to a Whole New Level
Leave it to Kim Kardashian to give ripped jeans a whole new meaning. While not all bathroom selfies are as glamorous as Kardashian's, the starlet somehow made a series of images of herself look ultra-chic. She proved us wrong in thinking that heavily distressed jeans were a thing of the past with this pair by Ludovic de Saint Sernin. She showed off her barely-there jeans from the brand's spring/summer '22 RTW collection. The jeans had lace-up detailing along each of the sides, as well as where the pants zipper should be. The black pockets were in full view on each side and the distressed threads went all the way down over her heels. She captioned the images, "Talk less and say more."
Kardashian's latest look is a complete style 180 from the recent outfits she's been seen wearing. Over the past few months, she's been spotted wearing one completely covered-up Balenciaga look after another. She wore a bright blue spandex Balenciaga gown with silver sunglasses at the Vanity Fair Oscars Party. Her ripped jeans reminded us of the early 2000s, especially when teamed with the purple tube top she paired the jeans with. The star's strapless top is by the fashion girl favourite brand No Sesso. It came in an ombré alligator material and had an asymmetrical silhouette. She finished her look off with a pair of beige pointed-toe heels and pulled her hair back into a sleek pony.
