Lewis Hamilton's Paddock Style Includes Sequins, Bucket Hats, and Boob-Windows

Knitwear might not be the obvious choice for a trip to the Middle East, but Hamilton chose a cream knitted co-ord with a multi-coloured knit vest underneath. With green neon trainers, he kept his look light and fresh.

There's overalls, and then there's overalls. In typical Hamilton style, the F1 star chose to make a statement with his jumpsuit on 25 Nov. by wearing an oversized tie dye brown and orange design. The tapered shape gave added volume to the streamlined look.

Despite the hot temperature in Abu Dhabi, Hamilton chose a leather-look shirt with camo pants on 23 Nov. Rocking the oversized bottoms with chunky boots, he added his signature necklaces for the ultimate paddock look.

Nothing says "Las Vegas" like a glittery co-ord, does it? That's why Hamilton chose the silver sparkling Burberry two-piece for the Sin City Grand Prix on 18 Nov. The embellished bomber jacket and wide-leg trousers were paired with a rib-knit best and trek boots for a look that perfectly reflected the lights of Vegas.

Wearing a knitted Tommy Hilfiger co-ord with graphic stripes, Hamilton waved to the crowds in Las Vegas on 18 Nov.

Wearing a tomato red shell suit on 17 Nov., Hamilton did little to go unnoticed. Despite pulling his cone collar up to cover his lower face, the driver stormed the paddock in his striking outfit. The black boots and sunglasses topped off the look.

Another race, another bold tracksuit. Hamilton rocked a space-themed green, black, and blue co-ord for the Brazil Grand Prix on 2 Nov.

Dressed for the occasion, Hamilton chose an Umbro tracksuit to support the Brazilian football team. In the national colours, the bright look was appropriate for the South American race.

Wide red denim jeans and an orange knitted vest are not for the faint-hearted, but Hamilton rocked it with confidence on 3 Nov.

On 29 Oct., Hamilton chose a pink fluffy bucket hat that has become a Gen Z staple for 2023. He paired his bubblegum-pink headgear with a Dior sweater vest and cream cargo pants.

Plucked straight from the spring/summer 24 runway, Hamilton rocked an attention-grabbing Diesel 'fit for the US Grand Prix on 21 Oct. The oversize graphic long-sleeve T-shirt was worn over baggy, cuffed, distressed jeans. It was a look that meant business.

A more muted look for Hamilton on 20 Oct. as he opted for a lemon sweater worn with brown jeans and black boots. A colour combination perfect for autumn.

The utilitarian trend took Hamilton's fancy on 19 Oct. as he arrived in Austin, TX, wearing a khaki denim jacket with tapered jeans and chunky sand-coloured boots.

On 8 October, Hamilton jumped on an unlikely trend favoured by celebs of late. Wearing a blue-and-cream woven sweater with a cutout section in the middle is a look we've come to know as the boob-window cutout trend adopted by the likes of Florence Pugh, Maya Jama, and Sydney Sweeney. Hamilton rocked his longline top with cream trousers, red trainers, and tonal green sunglasses.

Hoping the qualifiers would be all white, Hamilton channelled this in his outfit. A boxy oversize white T-shirt worn with more streamlined bottoms kept proportions balanced, while chunky black boots and sunglasses made for a monochrome masterclass on 7 October.

Another day, another cutout look. Hamilton was spotted in Qatar on 6 October wearing a grey hoodie with a deep V-neck cutout section at the front. With no top underneath (and none necessary in the heat), he teamed it with black cargo pants and boots.

For the Japan Grand Prix, Hamilton opted for a light-blue plisse co-ord by Japanese design house Issey Miyake. The light-blue vest and wide-leg trousers proved to be the perfect ensemble for the event, with extra-large pockets and a zipped front.

On 23 Sept., Hamilton chose one of his quirkiest ensembles yet. The grey acid wash oversize tee came with a layer of distressed, ripped denim sleeves underneath. And the matching jeans were just as unusual. Severely ripped denim was attached to the bottom half of acid-wash fabric to create a leg-warmer effect.

On 22 Sept., Hamilton rocked a co-ord complete with wavy pattern. The button-down shirt in graphic grey, black, and white waves matched the wide-leg trousers for a streamlined look.

Who doesn't love a man in a cardigan? Hamilton chose a black-and-white, bold, graphic-print cardigan on 21 Sept., worn with black long bottoms and black trainers. His usual chain necklace and multiple rings gave the ensemble some added style.

Hamilton has immediately given us inspiration for our Christmas wardrobe. The F1 driver was spotted walking the paddock on 17 Sept. in a blue sequin shirt paired with navy silk wide-leg trousers, a look we will be recreating in December. Playing with opulent textures makes for a wow-worthy outfit. He added brown suede shoes with a platform sole for a little added height.

This textured two-piece was quite the head turner in Singapore. On 16 Sept., Hamilton walked the paddock in a denim bomber jacket and balloon bottoms given a wavy tie-dye finish with textured strands. Worn with a simple white tee tucked in to offset the voluminous trousers, he played with proportions perfectly.

On 15 Sept., Hamilton checked off the trends. He chose a blue-and-green tartan rugby shirt with matching Rupert Bear–style trousers from Awake New York.

A denim boiler suit is always a winner, and Hamilton proved it on 14 Sept. The oversize all-in-one was given a casual feel thanks to the hood attached. He wore trucker boots for the ultimate cool, urban look.

When in Rome (or Monza as is more accurate), Hamilton stepped out looking oh so chic in a taupe co-ord on 3 Sept. The collared cop featured a deep V-neck that he wore with matching trousers. Chunky boots finished off the ensemble, which oozed effortless style.

On 1 Sept., Hamilton was all smiles as he arrived in Italy. Wearing another co-ord comprising of an acid-wash burnt-orange shirt with matching tie-dye effect baggy jeans, it was a look to make a statement. His choice of footwear made a change from his usual boots, as he chose black square-toed chain loafers.

A more ethereal look was the choice on 27 August as Hamilton chose an oversize black silk shirt with matching wide-leg trousers. The floaty ensemble was unbuttoned to below his chest to show a little of his pecs and emphasise the chain necklace he added.

Dressed for winter in summer, Hamilton spent 25 August in a block colour windbreaker jacket, joggers, and a woollen hat. He added tan trucker boots to break up the look.

On 24 August, Hamilton arrived at the Netherlands grand prix in an American football–themed jersey from Tommy Hilfiger. With a matching wool hat, trousers pulled up on one leg, and lace-up boots, he looked every inch the off-duty sportsman.

Hamilton chose a clashing purple, yellow, and blue tracksuit in the iconic Burberry check design for the Belgian Grand Prix. Teamed with purple leather Chelsea creeper boots, the driver kept to his co-ord dress code in this standout style.

Wearing a custom look by Nanushka, Hamilton was determined to stand out at the Hungarian Grand Prix. Wearing the short-sleeved shirt and wide-leg trousers in the shade Lumen Light, he added lace-up boots to toughen up the look.

In a shift from his usual co-ords, Hamilton chose a striped knitted vest with cream chinos for his prerace outfit in Hungary. Matching the knit with blue chunky boots, he certainly earned his fashion stripes.

Waterproofs were the order of the day at Silverstone as Hamilton wore cuffed orange joggers with a hooded mac complete with pink wavy lines.

Hamilton wore a collarless jacket with matching flared bottoms fresh from Pharrell Williams' first collection with Louis Vuitton. The burgundy-and-navy-checked design was paired with chunky boots and black sunnies.

On 2 July, Hamilton was spotted in Austria wearing a pale-yellow co-ord. The half-zip sweater with matching straight-leg trousers were kept light and fresh with white trainers and a white watch. Drawing attention to his black sunglasses, it was an easy summer look.

A day earlier, Hamilton rocked a mustard denim-wash co-ord formed of a bomber-jacket shape and wide-leg jeans. Teaming it with chunky tan boots, the outfit was a perfect choice amid some questionable summer weather.

Cool and casual, Hamilton opted for a blush-pink textured sweater and matching tapered trousers on 30 June. Wearing the ensemble with clean, white trainers, he accessorised with a beaded necklace.

On 29 June, Hamilton chose a knitted co-ord as he arrived in Austria. The yellow getup consisted of a knitted vest with oversize pockets and knitted joggers. With white trainers, sunnies, and necklace, Hamilton's look was bold, bright, and a winner in the style stakes.

On 15 June, Hamilton wore a decidedly more subdued look to the Canadian Grand Prix. A black tracksuit in an oversize fit with red-piping detail and black trainers was seen around the paddock.

A more serious look than we've been used to took Hamilton's fancy on 4 June as he wore an oversize black suit with large lapels and wide-leg trousers. He added a red shirt underneath — buttoned to the collar — in a look that meant business.

A pyjamalike getup was the order of the day on 3 June as Hamilton walked the paddock in a matching striped co-ord from Umit Benan. The loose linen ensemble was cool in the sun and given a laidback feel with white trainers and sunglasses.

Hamilton appeared to take inspiration from highlighter pens for his look at the Spanish Grand Prix on 2 June. Wearing a neon-green Versace button-up shirt with straight-leg trousers — a change from his usual baggy style – there was no chance the driver was going unnoticed. Paired with square-toe Versace boots and black sunnies, his outfit certainly made a statement.

Hamilton touched down in Spain on 1 June in a red monogrammed Valentino anorak with Our Legacy cream-coloured cargo pants. The comfortable attire was given a high-end look thanks to the designer logo print.

On 27 May, Hamilton chose a sunshine yellow tracksuit. The half-zip, collared sweater worn with baggy bottoms and white trousers was bold, yet minimal.

On 25 May, Hamilton arrived in Monaco wearing a sheer lace co-ord from Lous Vuitton's spring 2023 collection. The oversize shirt and wide-leg bottoms were made of sheer cream lace with coloured flowers across the matching set. Skate trainers and white sunglasses completed his floral 'fit.

Hello, sequins! Hamilton shimmered in the paddock ahead of the Miami Grand Prix wearing a custom-made Rick Owens ensemble. The aubergine-coloured jumpsuit featured wide-leg trousers, a high neckline, and a drawstring waist to give the ensemble more shape. He teamed it with chunky Dr Martens stomper boots and Louis Vuitton sunglasses for a Star Wars–inspired look that really was out of this world.

Another day, another co-ord. As he arrived at the Miami Grand Prix on 4 May, Hamilton rocked up in a matching Tommy Jeans twill shirt with loose, wide-leg trousers. In the brand's signature red, white, and blue colours, he adopted the American brand for the US race.

A very on-brand look for Hamilton on 6 May, when he was spotted wearing an oversize rugby top from a collaboration between Tommy Jeans, Mercedes-AMG F1, and Awake NY. Teamed with loose cream-coloured trousers with navy racing stripe detail, of course, he finished the look with red Versace sunnies.

It wouldn't take a fashion genius to notice this Louis Vuitton ensemble. The washed-denim jacket and low-rise loose jeans adorned with that iconic "LV" logo were the 'fit for 5 May and set the bar for his Miami wardrobe.

Ditching a T-shirt and displaying a slither of abs, Hamilton unbuttoned the cream-coloured denim jacket to expose the Tommy Hilfiger waistband of the matching cream baggy jeans. Teamed with Louis Vuitton trainers and Gucci sunglasses, this look was high-end and in-demand.

Channelling the sunshine, Hamilton stood out in a yellow ensemble that certainly got him noticed. The collared lightweight cardigan perfectly complemented the smart yellow wide-leg trousers. He kept his look fresh with cream-coloured chunky boots.

We know Hamilton loves a co-ord, and this Louis Vuitton outfit might just be the boldest yet. The patchwork denim jacket and baggy jeans include shades of grey, blue, and white to create a face. Fresh from the autumn '23 runway, Hamilton ensured every street really was his catwalk.

Hamilton continued his colourful wardrobe in Australia by stepping out on 1 April in a suede leather Kenzo jacket adorned with bright cartoon-like animals. He teamed the bomber jacket with blue cargo trousers and black lace-up boots, also by Kenzo, as well as his signature Celine sunglasses.

A more pared-down look was chosen on 31 March as the driver opted for relaxed light-wash-denim jeans and blue pullover jacket, both from Tommy Jeans. He matched the metallic blue jacket with blue sunglasses and patterned Louis Vuitton trainers.

On 19 March, Hamilton opted for a Dior look from top-to-toe. The 'fit, from the resort '23 catwalk, included a thick grey and red crewneck jumper teamed with wide-leg tan trousers. Although, in typical fashion-forward form, these weren't just any trousers but included a red sequin racing stripe in the side. Tan suede trainers and red sunnies were the finishing touches.

Hamilton could have walked straight out of a Star Wars film in this getup. The driver wore a black capped-sleeve tunic from the Rick Owens autumn winter '23 collection that was fitted at the waist to create a streamlined silhouette. With oversize Rick Owens cargo pants and chunky stomper boots, Hamilton's 18 March look oozed mystery.

Hamilton's trans-seasonal look on 17 March had us ready for sunnier days. The pastel tones scream spring as the F1 driver opted for a lilac, green, and baby-blue checked fleece (despite the hot temperatures) teamed with light-blue two-tone cargo pants, and matching trainers, all from the Dior resort '23 runway.

Tablecloth chic was on the cards for 16 March. As Hamilton stepped out in Saudi Arabia, he chose a red checked longline shirt by Prada over a plain white Calvin Klein tee, baggy black trousers, and matching red Prada trainers. Tortoiseshell sunnies and a chain necklace completed the look.

Layers were the order of the day on 5 March as Hamilton rocked a top-to-toe brown look from the Dior autumn '23 runway. Teaming his crewneck sweater with matching brown trousers, the look was given a stylish spin with the addition of skirtlike pleats falling to his right knee. He tucked his trousers into cream and black stomper boots and added red-tinted sunglasses to up the style credentials.

Before race day, Hamilton kept his look light and fresh in a tie-dye co-ord by Tommy Hilfiger. The matching jeans and jacket were teamed with a vintage T-shirt emblazoned with "I have a dream" and Martin Luther King's face. He added red Dior sunglasses and Prada trainers for the ultimate spring look.

The sun might be strong in Bahrain, but Hamilton's outfit was red hot. The driver wore a bright-red matching knitted co-ord from the Zegna x The Elder Statesman collection, made up of a button-down shirt and wide-leg trousers. He kept to the red hue from top to toe by adding red sunglasses and red trainers, leading some fans to speculate whether he was a secret Ferrari fan. . . .

Hamilton has stuck to his knitwear while in the Middle East and opted for a black buttoned tank top by Miu Miu, worn with nothing underneath as a waistcoat. He teamed the top with dark acid-wash baggy jeans and chunky black biker boots. Accessorised with layers of jewellery, a watch, and sunglasses, Hamilton's attire was stylishly cool despite the heat.

While he might be wearing jewellery around the paddock, Hamilton found himself in hot water with the FIA last year after it tightened the rules about driver's accessories while racing. Hamilton argued against the stricter regulations, claiming they were "a step backward". Instead, he expresses his style away from the competitive race.
