We are a Black & POC owned luxury brand. At Prince & Bond we have been having those difficult conversations and are actively working on how to advocate for racial equality within the fashion & travel industries. . We are calling to redefine the image of fashion. The global image of luxury fashion and travel has been dominated exclusively by the white, affluent, and privileged. As frequent travelers and consumers ourselves, we have rarely seen BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) depicted or valued in the same way, thus this fueled the vision for our brand. . Since our establishment, we have been committed to inclusivity. From the casting for our runway shows and campaign shoots to the creative minds behind each production, diversity has always been at the forefront of our core values. We sought to create a brand that embodied our love for quality, sense of adventure, and celebrates inclusivity in a way that hasn’t been portrayed through other brands. . This pivotal moment in society cannot be achieved alone. We are calling on brands, publications, influencers, and retailers who are industry “gatekeepers” to take this opportunity to listen, collaborate, and support Black owned businesses to help reshape an underrepresented community. . We are joining the #15percentpledge Black people account for 15% of the population in the United States. We are calling on major retailers to pledge 15% of their shelf space to Black-owned businesses.
