After giving birth to her second child, Blake Lively is coming to the realisation that, unfortunately, getting back in shape isn't going to happen without a little hard work. The 30-year-old actress recently shared an Instagram post celebrating her 4 stone postpartum weight loss with the help of her trainer, Don Saladino.
"Turns out you can't lose the 61 lbs you gained during pregnancy by just scrolling through instragram [sic] and wondering why you don't look like all the bikini models," Blake wrote, adding, "10 months to gain, 14 months to lose. Feeling very proud." Her trainer shared a similar sentiment in another jaw-dropping shot of the actress.
Blake's post is refreshing to see in that she's honest about the time and effort that went into losing her lingering pregnancy weight and the fact that she saw a trainer to do so. For many, it doesn't happen overnight or even over the course of several years — and that's absolutely OK.
