Since my high school days (more than a decade ago now) I've spent hundreds of dollars and run countless miles in sneakers that killed my feet. This past Summer in hopes this pair would finally be the ones, I treated myself to these Nike Epic React Flyknit Running Shoes ($150).
When they were released, I saw them all over my Instagram feed and was instantly attracted to its cool design and all the fun colour choices. But, its comfy design is what really sold me. The super-snug sock-like silhouette tightly forms to my feet making them feel secure and supported. It also features a cushy sole that keeps my feet comfortable even on long-distance runs or high-intensity workouts. My favourite feature: they're so stylish! I've worn them outside the gym and off the running track with jeans to work or with cute sweatpants on the plane.
