I Tried Guess Workout Leggings, and They Actually Fit My Curves

I've come to love the curves of my lower body, but they don't exactly make shopping for workout leggings easy. The combination of my short legs, muscular thighs, pronounced posterior, and smaller waist often results in uncomfortable bunching, stretching, riding up, or slipping down. Nothing you want to deal with mid-workout!

So, I've been on the hunt for workout pants that will stay put, but also allow for the many movements used in everything from yoga and weightlifting to running and high-intensity interval training (HIIT). Guess jeans have always perfectly hugged my curves (goodbye, back gap!), so I decided to give their Printed Compression Leggings ($59) a try.

The leggings have a four-way stretch fabrication and come in three different prints, with the option to add a matching top. I opted for the Camo print and was immediately impressed with how the leggings felt when I put them on. They were snug yet comfy. They didn't pull at the seams or appear to be stretched too thin around my curves. Because of the high waist, I felt confident that my stomach wouldn't make any unwanted appearances during a workout.

Pleased with how the leggings fit, I headed off to an hour-long HIIT- and resistance-based class at F45. And boy, did that workout put these leggings to the test! I was all over the place, doing lunges, burpees, A-steps, mountain climbers, bear crawls, and more. And even with all that squatting and jumping around, I never had to adjust or worry about my pants. They stayed put, they stayed comfortable, and equally important, they looked dry, even when things got sweaty.

Guess has done right by girls with curves, giving us leggings that fit our shape, while remaining practical for even the toughest workouts.
