I like to fit barre classes in between days of high-intensity workouts to allow me to rest and tone. Since core work is the foundation of basically any other exercise (and essential for preventing injury), I consider weekly barre classes a must. Although the movements and weights are tiny, I definitely feel their effects the next morning. I also admittedly schedule this workout around my hair-washing schedule since I rarely get too sweaty in these classes.
