We feel like we have tried everything, and nothing works. - I thought I had tried everything too. But what I discovered was I hadn’t even scratched the surface. - And while I wish I could have a magical series of specific exercises for you to do that will melt it all away, the reality is that doesn’t exist. Doing 100 crunches every night, or holding a plank for 5 minutes isn’t going to do it. So what will burn that fat away? - The formula for burning belly fat is the same formula for fat loss in general: - ✅Set up your calorie deficit and stick to it -BW x 11-12 is a good place to start ✅Eat lean protein and Veggies at every meal. Aim for 20-30 grams of protein per meal ✅Strength Train 3-4x per week with big compound movements and a sprinkling of accessory movements ✅Add some cardio you love - Cardio is not the focus, but is a great addition to your strength training ✅Consistency not perfection - Stay consistent over time with calories and workouts ✅Be patient - This is the hardest one. Fat loss takes time. Just keep going - The changes our bodies go through as we get older can be frustrating - I totally get it, Have been there - am still there. But we CAN do something about it.
