Trader Joe's Almond Butter Cups Review
After Careful Sampling and Analysis, Trader Joe's Almond Butter Cups Are No Reese's

I love that nut butter cups are slowly inching into healthier and healthier territory, and it's not like I didn't like these. I ate half the container in a day (for research), so clearly I wasn't exactly turning up my nose. They didn't make me feel as jittery or gross afterward as Reese's do, which was another plus. If you know you're going to eat 10 cups at once (it's true; I just counted my empty wrappers, and I'm not sure whether to be embarrassed or impressed), choosing the one with the lowest sugar does make your body feel better afterward.
But all of that said, as someone who eats peanut butter out of the jar on a daily basis, giving up that signature strong, salty flavour just took too much away from these cups to make them my number ones. If you prefer almond butter or want a healthier version of peanut butter cups and don't mind sacrificing some of the salty flavour, I'll leave these to you. Right after I finish this pack.
