I haven't hosted a tea party since I was eight, when I frequently forced my family members to drink Hawaiian Punch out of plastic teacups to project some semblance of sophistication, but I just found out spiked tea exists, so consider me a hostess again. Made with natural ingredients from around the world, Wandering Whistler's Brewed Alcohol Teas ($14) are canned — no teacups necessary! — and come in two classic flavours: Jasmine and Earl Grey with Elderflower.

Inspired by two of London's most popular teas, each can is made by fermenting tea leaves and cane sugar with yeast before adding classic flavours like bergamot orange, honey, and elderflower. So, now we can experience all the comfort and calm that comes with sipping a hot cup of tea, plus get a little kick from the added booze.

At 4.5 percent ABV per 12-ounce can, these Brewed Alcohol Teas are relatively low in alcohol content and still give off those soothing herbal tea flavours to help one wind down after a long day. Each can also comes in at 120 calories and only 4 grams of sugar for the earl grey and 3 grams for the jasmine green tea. Call it tea time or call it happy hour — either way, it's a great excuse to invite the gang over and relax. Shop the boozy teas ahead.
