Bloody Halloween Margarita Recipe
The Only Thing Missing From Your Horror Movie Marathons? This Bloody Margarita Recipe
Let's bring one of our favourite summer drinks into the spooky season, shall we? Yep, I'm talking about the good ol' margarita. I wanted a fun frozen margarita that could read as more of a Halloween cocktail than just a standard frozen drink, so I decided to get a little creative (and devilish) when creating this Bloody Halloween Margarita recipe. Rather than going with the expected strawberry option, I went with Tazo's Berry Hibiscus Margarita mix for colour and flavour. It makes your margarita recipe incredibly simple, because it already has a combination of flavours, including lime juice and sweetener. For me, though, I like a lot of those flavours, so I added extra, but that's totally up to you.
To make this marg truly scary, I added a dripping blood rim to the glass, which you can do a number of ways. I combined some icing sugar with cherry juice to get a red drizzle and then coated that in red sugar. You could also try something like honey tinted red or just use lime juice with red sugar. Feel free to play around with ingredients and flavours! I added some red food colour to the margarita itself too to make it a more intense colour, but you can always leave that out if you don't want the additive. Either way, the Tazo margarita mix will give you a red drink perfect for serving on Halloween.
