Lizzo Pairs Her Bikini Top With a Micro Miniskirt on Holiday
Lizzo is looking good as hell on holiday. On 26 March, the singer gave her fans a peek at the tropical wardrobe she packed for a getaway in the Bahamas. To kick off her trip, she paired a classic black halter bikini top with a bright Miaou miniskirt decorated with orange, navy, and silver stripes. Lizzo accessorised with black peep-toe heels, a peachy ombré manicure, long braided hair, and silver hoop earrings. "In my joy bryant era," she captioned several Instagram photos of her sipping a Corona at the dinner table. She also shared a "get ready with me" video on TikTok, starring celebrity makeup artist Alexx Mayo.
Lizzo is never one to play it safe with her fashion choices, especially when it comes to swimwear. During a trip earlier this year, she swapped sandals for Prada moon boots while posing poolside in a white string bikini. On a different trip in August, she layered fishnet tights underneath a pink thongkini and wrapped a Chanel pearl chain around her waist.
There's a deeper message behind some of Lizzo's most stylish bikini pictures. As the Grammy winner explained in a 6 Jan. TikTok responding to body shamers on her page, she does what she wants with her body and doesn't care what people have to say about it. "The discourse around bodies is officially tired," she said. "Do we realise that artists are not here to fit into your beauty standards? Artists are here to make art, and this body is art. And I'm going to do whatever I want with this body."
