There's a lot of excitement and preparation involved in getting ready for the first day of school. There's learning about your teachers, classmates, shopping for back-to-school supplies, and maybe even planning out your first day outfit. For elementary school student Blake Rajahn, he put extra special thought into what his first day outfit would be, but it might surprise you.

When Blake's mom offered to make him a special shirt for his first day (she owns a personalization business), he knew exactly what we wanted. According to a Facebook post that his mom Nikki shared, he spent some time thinking and decided on a shirt that said "I will be your friend."

"I have to brag on my son," Nikki wrote to caption the picture. "I told him that as a back to school gift, I will make him any shirt he would like. It could have anything- a basketball theme, football, etc. which are all his favourites. He thought a while and said, "will you please make me a shirt that says 'I will be your friend" for all the kids who need a friend to know that I am here for them?" Never underestimate your kid's heart for others! I love my sweet Blake!"

Nikki explained that Blake had experienced bullying before so he wanted to let other kids know that he was interested in being there for them. "I want to make sure that kids that are are bullied know they have a friend already." he told his mom, according to a local news station. that he was interested in being their friend. "Blake just has a wonderful heart and cares deeply for others," Nikki told POPSUGAR. And as for the popularity of the shirt? "He said that he's excited that more people are getting the t-shirts because that means more and more people are going to have more more friends."

This is such a fantastic idea.
