You Can't Not Smile at This Video of a Dunkin' Employee Dancing With a Customer Who Has Autism

No matter how crazy the world may seem, we can always count on those heartwarming, diamond-in-the-rough stories to restore our faith in humanity. Take this one, for example. A Dunkin' Donuts employee is going viral for sharing an adorable dance during his shift with a customer who has autism — a dance to Lady Gaga, might I add — and it's definitely the most wholesome thing you'll see all week.

Bryan Lara was working at one of the chain's coffee shops in Staten Island when Donald Simon, a 26-year-old who is on the spectrum and nonverbal, stopped in with his aide. When Gaga's "Paparazzi" came on, Bryan started breakin' it down alongside Donald, who gave a few thumbs up and high-fived Bryan during his impromptu performance.

Donald's mom, Donna Maxon, shared a video of their sweet interaction on Facebook, captioning it: "Sometimes the Staff at Dunkin Donuts does a floor show to ensure their Special guests are having fun! Thank you for rolling out the red carpet for Donald." The uplifting clip has since garnered more than 100,000 views in just two weeks, undoubtedly melting the heart of everyone who's watched.

Speaking with Yahoo Lifestyle, Donna said she was thrilled that her son made a new pal. "When you're on the spectrum and nonverbal, the word friend isn't used that much, and it touches the heart of a special needs mom," she said, adding that Bryan has "shined a light for so many people." For the five-year Dunkin' employee, it's all in a day's work. "I am always dancing, and when I saw Donald smile, it was a great feeling," he told Yahoo. "I love my customers so much."
