If You Love Workin' Moms, Then These Series Need to Be Added to Your Must-Watch List

This Australian comedy series follows the tales of Audrey, a quirky first-time mom who joins an oddball mothers' group and ends up meeting a cast of new friends along the way. The first two seasons are available to stream on Netflix now, and though we haven't received any official word about a third season, we definitely will be let down if we don't get one.

This tragically short-lived Showtime series follows the misadventures of Bridgette Bird, a young single mother from South Boston who attempts to make ends meet and give her son, Larry, the best life she can — though this often leads to her making some pretty foolish decisions. The hilarious show was cancelled after only two seasons, but the good news is you can binge this whole series in a weekend.

As the title suggests, this ABC sitcom is about a group of single parents who form their own support group to help them all face the challenges of raising children single-handedly. With a cast that includes Gossip Girl's Leighton Meester, Saturday Night Live's Taran Killam, and Scandal's Kimrie Lewis, this is a single-parents group we definitely want in on.

While this mommy clique isn't quite as relatable as the crew from Workin' Moms, these fabulously wealthy mom BFFs from Australia are just as entertaining to watch. The reality series follows four besties as they struggle with the challenges of pregnancy and then, in the second season, explore the pressing choices and questions of new mothers in the upper crust.

This dark comedy from Liz Feldman, the writer of 2 Broke Girls, tells the story of an unlikely friendship that blossoms between Judy, a free spirit played by Linda Cardellini, and Jen, a hotheaded widow played by Christina Applegate. If you think Workin' Moms has some awesome dysfunctional female friendships, then you'll love the complicated Jen-Judy dynamic (especially since it's coming back for a second season!).

While these former Harvard classmates (thankfully) aren't parents quite yet, they're still struggling just as much to keep their careers and personal lives together as the ladies of Workin' Moms. This series was cancelled way too soon after just two seasons, but if you ever feel like life isn't nearly as easy as other people make it look, then you'll find solace with this crew.

When an American in London meets an Irish teacher, neither of them expects that their fun, no-strings-attached affair will end in a pregnancy — or that they'll then decide to keep the child. This laugh-out-loud series follows Rob and Sharon as they struggle to find love, then marriage, after the child has already come.

How far would a good mother go to provide for her children? Sisters Beth and Annie and their best friend Ruby answer that question when these three moms work together to pull off a heist that could solve all of their individual financial woes — but that perfect plan, of course, comes with plenty of unexpected complications.

The only thing more difficult than being a single mom of two struggling to maintain newfound sobriety is having your passive-aggressive, recovering-alcoholic mother drop unexpectedly into your life. Despite the challenges presented by her mother — and by her married lover and her irresponsible ex — Christy simply does everything she can to be the best mom she can be (though those good intentions don't always work out as planned).

As far as we know, no one on Workin' Moms has an appetite for human flesh, but Joel and Sheila prove that — bloodsucker or not — life as a parent is anything but effortless. This show was unfairly cancelled after three seasons, but you can still binge it all on Netflix.

It's true that Rebecca Bunch is not a mother herself (which is probably for the best) and that the ladies of Workin' Moms are as unlikely to burst into song as Rebecca is to raise a child. But the struggles of Rebecca and her BFF Paula (who is, in fact, a working mother of two) will remind you that no one has it all together — even if they can improvise a great song or two along the way.
