Popsugar Parenting The Royals Woman Calling Meghan Markle "Fat Lady" Video Someone Called Pregnant Meghan Markle a "Fat Lady," and Ma'am, We'd Like to Talk 16 January 2019 by Perri Konecky Do my ears deceive me? Quite possibly the first time the Duchess of Sussex has been called a "fat lady" and loved it pic.twitter.com/xR2NelQyAW— Hannah Furness (@Hannah_Furness) January 16, 2019 Welp, some people might need a reminder of the rule, "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all" — especially when it involves Meghan Markle. On Wednesday, the Duchess of Sussex visited Mayhew, an animal charity and one of her four new patronages, where she played with puppies and spent time with those involved in Mayhew's program. It was all hugs and smiles until one of the women had a eyebrow-raising comment for the mom-to-be. "You're a fat lady!" she said, which Meghan handled *flawlessly* and said, "I'll take it!" Ha! Of course, the woman meant no harm in her comment and it left the entire room laughing, but we just have to commend Meghan's response. Pregnant or not, if someone called me a "fat lady," I don't think I'd be able to react with such class . . . but then again, that's why she's a British royal and sadly I am not. Ahead, find the clip of the hilariously uncomfortable moment and see how others have reacted to Meghan being "the hottest fat lady there is."
