One family isn't letting Disneyland being temporarily closed stop them from having a Disney holiday — from the inside of their home. Julie Foster Thornock and her family love Disney, and while there are videos of virtual park rides online, they decided to take their Disneyland staycation up a notch by completely re-creating two Disney attractions in their house.
From the employee intros and costumes to the music and actual ride features, the Thornock family designed and filmed their versions of both the Pirates of the Caribbean and Haunted Mansion rides. And y'all, they nailed it. Above, ride Pirates of the Caribbean (complete with a swinging foot as you travel through an underpass), and below, ride The Haunted Mansion.
Welcome Back Foolish Mortals! We’ve received your sympathetic vibrations. We find it delightfully unlivable here in this ghostly quarantine. ••• The kids decided to make one more due to multiple requests for Haunted Mansion. Never thought I would be getting out all my Halloween decorations in March 😂👻. #disneylandstaycation #hauntedmansion #homemadedisney #socialdistancingPosted by Julie Foster Thornock on Monday, March 23, 2020
