On Luna's fourth birthday, her mum wrote on Instagram: "happy 4th birthday to the queen of our household. I could have never prayed for a better little being." Legend added on his own account: "Happy 4th birthday to our beautiful Luna! I'm so happy I get to be your father, teacher, friend."
In Teigen's 2021 People cover story, she told the outlet Luna is "a bit of a perfectionist." "I'm trying to tell her that not everything — it's funny because when I talk to her, I'm actually talking to myself too — not everything has to be perfect and there is joy and beauty in imperfections, and don't be so hard on yourself," she added. "And that's me talking to myself when I tell her that stuff."
