Netflix's Bridgerton series may be known for its enticing plot, a cast that looks like they were sculpted by Michelangelo himself, and an amazing instrumental cover of Taylor Swift's Wildest Dreams. But allow me to put you on to the one thing that sets Bridgerton apart from everything else: its horny sex scenes.
Sure, some of them may have caused some concerns from an actual ob-gyn, and yes, they're also maybe not the most realistic, but there's a lot of voyeuristic pleasure that comes from watching the Shonda Rhimes production, too.
If you've already tuned into the first season, you know exactly what I'm talking about. There was tons of oral sex, a masturbation scene, and a five-minute montage of Daphne (Phoebe Dynevor) and Simon (Regé-Jean Page) having sex.
Season two might have teased you slight, after such a passionate start. It's way less about the sex scenes and more about the slow build between new love interests Viscount Anthony (Jonathan Bailey) and Kate (Simone Ashley). In other words, Kanthony's season definitely skimps a little bit on the sex itself — apologies to everyone who thought it'd be on the same level as season one.
And it's no different in season three, part one (yes, you'll have to wait until June 13th for part two) where Penelope Featherington and Colin Bridgerton's blossoming friends-to-lovers romance takes centre stage. In the first four episodes, there's no sex between Colin and Penelope (sorry to let you down) but the other Bridgerton and Featherington siblings do get busy in their respective lives, including not one, but two romantic yet raunchy scenes with newlyweds Kate and Anthony and a couple of threesomes as Colin flexes what he learned in Paris during his travels. So, season three is definitely horny, just not for the couple we want it to be.
For your viewing pleasure, regardless of if you plan to watch the whole season or just want to fast-forward to all the sex scenes, here are the horniest moments from seasons one, two and three that are worth paying extra attention to — time stamps included.
