Although we may be entering the shortest month of the year, there's no shortage of beauty products to get out and buy! We've spent weeks testing the following 18 goodies so you wouldn't have to (rough life — we know). Just in time for Valentine's Day, we've found the items worth falling in love with, from a flower-filled lip gloss to a high-tech hair dryer that cuts styling time in half. The primary reason I wear SPF is to keep my melasma from worsening, but having a product that includes powerful antioxidants to help with my skin's smoothness and texture is a huge bonus. I wear it similarly to a primer because it does have a little bit of a tint to it, which also makes it great for creating a minimal makeup look. The tint also adjusts to your skin tone so that it blends and doesn't appear too chalky. "The bottom of my purse is full of stray lip glosses, but none are as cute as my new Lancôme Jelly Flower Lip Tint ($33). Yes, those are real fricking flowers living inside of this tube, and luckily the aesthetics of this gloss once its applied match its chic container. I love dabbing just a smidge of this pink formula onto the center of my lips for a slight, natural-looking rosy flush. Even though the wet look is subtle, it's oh so sexy. "The first perfume I ever bought was a 2006 Juicy Couture release, purchased with my own allowance money at a T.J. Maxx in New Hampshire. More than a decade later, the brand continues to deliver superfun, fresh fragrances, and Soirée ($78) is no exception. I'm obsessed with the fruity top notes, which include kiwi and mandarin. But this also contains whiffs of jasmine, amber, and musk, which anchor this fragrance. The result is a mature but playful scent. It also doesn't hurt that this pink splatter-paint packaging is cute as a button — along with the bow that surrounds this bottle." — AD

"Skincare darling I Dew Care — creator of that viral, metallic, and perennially sold-out Disco Kitten Face Mask — is back with another peel-off ($23) that's bound to follow its older sister's footsteps. This charcoal, topaz, and diamond (fancy!) powder-infused mask spreads navy blue glitter onto your face. As you wait 20 minutes, ingredients like volcanic ash and witch hazel work to brighten your skin and keep oil production in check. That means you'll wash this off to notice a more vibrant, matte complexion. I love using this before I apply makeup on a big night because, quite simply, it makes me glow." — AD

"I never used to be into lip masks or scrubs until the past year, when I noticed my lips becoming more and more decrepit looking. Maybe that's an exaggeration, but my lips have been dryer and peeling more than ever before. "I'm a facial-spray addict, so I have pretty high standards for my mists. This Australian import holds up to my OG favorite spray from Mario Badescu. Not only does the Edible Beauty No. 2 Citrus Rhapsody Toner Mist ($33, out Feb. 13) smell like a refreshing glass of orange juice, but its blend of fig and bilberry also hydrate my Winter-dull skin. Calendula also soothes any redness or irritation I may have. I love how this mist also doubles as a toner, which means it pulls double duty to clear impurities while revitalizing my face. Oh, and it lives in a gorgeously sleek, black-and-white, floral-patterned box that would make the best Valentine's Day gift for any skincare-lover." — AD
Nest Fragrances Wisteria Blue Rollerball
"OK, I know the Desperate Housewives reference I'm about to make is like 10 years too late to be relevant, but the ladies of Wisteria Lane would totally dig Nest's similarly titled Wisteria Blue Rollerball Perfume ($27). Scents of jasmine and rose mix with the eponymous note to create a subtle but intoxicating scent that's perfect for on-the-go touch-ups. I've thrown this (gorgeously packaged) rollerball in my purse and have been known to bust it out on the subway, during meetings, on first dates, literally anywhere. The delicate scent is so classic, my impromptu swiping is always appreciated by whoever is lucky enough to smell me." — AD
