Daisy Ridley Joined the '80s Perm Revival — and Damn, It Looks Good on Her

The resurgence of permed (or perm-inspired) hair has taken over 2018 so far, and we couldn't be happier to see celebrities rock the look. We first saw Jennifer Lawrence step out on the Oscars red carpet with tight blonde waves, then Blake Lively made us fall in love with her hair even more than we thought was possible with a coiled 'do. Now the perm renaissance has moved across the ocean with Daisy Ridley opting for retro-style corkscrew curls, and we think it's one of her best looks yet. Although we did like her blonde locks too.
Judging from hairstylist James Brown's Instagram of Daisy's look, he used Babyliss products to create the style (rather than an actual perming lotion). We suspect he reached for the Babyliss Tight Curls Wand (£25) to create the corkscrew coils. Pair this with a smoky eye by the one and only Lisa Eldridge, and it's by far one of our favourite looks of the year so far.
