Christine Blasey Ford's testimony. Brett Kavanaugh's outburst. Jeff Flake's . . . flakiness.

If you've been keeping up with the rotating news cycle, you'll know that it's been a tough week for women. Hell, it's been a difficult past few decades — especially for sexual assault survivors. That's why, in light of Kavanaugh's Supreme Court nomination, one beauty brand has launched a new fundraiser to fight back.

Katie Sones first launched Lipslut early last year with a simple premise: fight the patriarchy, one lipstick at a time. The inaugural hue, a moody pink called F*ck Trump ($20), dropped when the 45th president took office. Now, there's a new shade in town: F*ck Kavanaugh ($20), a deep red hue as bold as the women who inspired it. (You can check it out for yourself ahead.) Every penny of the lipstick's proceeds will go toward various anti-sexual-assault organisations, like RAINN, No More, and End the Backlog, from now until Sunday, Oct. 7.

This one, as Sones told POPSUGAR, is for the girls. "While watching the hearing and the events leading up to it, I got so upset seeing women's voices being ignored, doubted, and flat-out denied," she said. "Watching this struggle at a national level seems to confirm our worst fears and assumptions. It isn't just our schools and employers that willfully ignore claims about sexual assault — it's the government, it's the law, it's everyone. If the highest levels of government won't listen to us, who will? To me, this entire mess serves as a microcosm for how thousands of women's experiences and traumas are treated every day — we had to act."

Besides any survivor's story, there's yet another thing you should always believe: "that we should do everything in our power to change this reality," Sones said.
