While many of us are doing our part by self-isolating and staying indoors, the medical professionals around the UK don't have that luxury. They're putting themselves on the frontlines, working long hours and extra shifts to keep us all safe and to stop the spread of COVID-19. And while we've all read a lot of stressful and sad news lately, there are also plenty of stories highlighting hope and kindness exhibited during these uncertain times. One example of that: Leading London salon, Adam Reed Hair, has announced they'll be thanking NHS staff by offering complimentary wash and blow dries.
"@adamreedlondon are offering @nhsmillion #NHS workers who are working tirelessly through these uncertain times a wash and blow dry on us, it will be in and around our client appointments, but we have gaps and what better way to fill them. We will fit as many in as possible, unfortunately we have limited staff so will be first come first served for as long as we are open. Contact us on the Salon number for a appointment time," is the statement posted on the brand Instagram account.
While there have been restaurant, pub, and tube closures, many hair salons are remaining open until an enforced government lock down or stricter guidelines are set in place.
Despite the times of unpredictability, it's nice to see salons such as Adam Reed providing such a nice gesture for the men and women working around the clock to keep us all safe.
