"Despite my job as a beauty editor, I'm a skin-care minimalist. I rarely use products outside of the necessary cleanser, moisturiser, and sunscreen. That said, Tatcha's new The Silk Serum may have convinced me to add a step to my routine. It's packed with antioxidant-rich cranberry extract to target dullness, which, in combination with sea fennel, also helps soften lines. "While I've got my cleansing and moisturising routine down, I am guilty of skipping the eye cream step. "Maybelline's products always impress me, and the Maybelline New York Super Stay Up to 24HR Hybrid Powder-Foundation (£12) is no exception. I'm admittedly not a huge powder foundation girl (I have dry skin, which typically doesn't mix well) but this new formula played nicely with my complexion in more ways than one. It didn't leave my face feeling like a desert or cake-y after wearing it for hours, and though it has a matte finish, it still looks like your skin but with a soft focus filter.
