Britney Spears Reveals Her Shortest Haircut in Years

There's something about a new season that makes you crave a hair change, and it looks like Britney Spears agrees. The singer recently refreshed her hair for autumn. In an Instagram video hanging out on a beach, a very sunburnt Spears posed with face-framing layers tied back into a short ponytail. While her pink fedora hat covers most of the chop, she debuted what appears to be a chic lob haircut. "I cut all my hair off . . . I don't want to show it yet ✂️✂️✂️!!!" the singer wrote on 4 Oct.
Spears went even shorter than before, following her post-wedding haircut back in June. Weeks after her wedding, she welcomed newlywed life by cutting her long blonde hair to shoulder-length. The singer is no stranger to a DIY hair transformation — like many of us at home in 2020, she cut her own wispy curtain bangs that hit right at her brows. "Who would have thought bangs could make you look waaaaay younger?!?!" she wrote at the time.
The lob haircut is a celebrity favourite for good reason — it's a versatile, fun happy medium for those looking for a change but afraid to go too dramatic, and flattering for any hair type.
