Florence Pugh was a vision at the reopening of the Tiffany & Co. store in New York on 27 April. For the occasion, the actor debuted another hair triumph, while arriving in a green see-through, caped gown paired with sparkling diamonds, of course. Pugh's boundary-pushing style has continued to shine, yet the inspiration for her new hairstyle wasn't quite what we were expecting.

While Pugh's blonde bob, which she chopped off in real life for her role in "A Good Person", was given a sculptural style and faux micro fringe for the Oscars, and fashioned into a fanned work of art for the BAFTAs, celebrity hairstylist Peter Lux has continued to experiment with her hair in the most creative ways. For the NYC event, he kept her lob straight and flicked inwards at the ends, while keeping a longer, choppy fringe. And his Instagram proves the inspiration for the look was, indeed, the 1983 crime drama "Scarface". Don't worry, he wasn't channelling Al Pacino, but Michelle Pfeifer's femme fatale character, Elvira Hancock. Alex Babsky also took the same inspo for Pugh's makeup, which was given a sultry feel with smokey eyes and matte lips.

For the rest of Pugh's show-stopping look, Dawn Sterling gave her almond-shaped nails an iridescent manicure which shimmered in multi-coloured hues in the light. Her longtime stylist, Rebecca Corbin-Murray, dressed the "Don't Worry Darling" star in a stunning strapless, see-through dress by Valentino — an apt choice considering Pugh is now the face of the Valentino rockstud collection. The mint green gown came complete with a flowing cape and long train. She teamed the dress with platform heels and huge stacked jewel rings and a pedant by Tiffany & Co.

For the evening, Pugh rubbed shoulders with Brooklyn and Nicola Peltz Beckham, but her new friend Zendaya, who she shared a sweet Instagram exchange with after working together on the "Dune: Part II" film, was sadly not at the party. Keep scrolling to see more of Pugh's look as well as the Pfeiffer inspiration behind it.
