People Are Still Shocked by Kim Kardashian's Real Hair Length

When it comes to hair, Kim Kardashian is a chameleon. In recent years, she's tried everything from her signature dark waves to a more controversial platinum blonde (à la Marilyn Monroe) at the Met Gala and everything in between. In a 24 Dec. video posted on Kardashian and daughter North West's joint TikTok account, fans got a look at what the Skims founder's real hair looks like now. And more recently, fans are expressing their surprise, taken aback by her shorter length.
No matter the colour, Kardashian rarely shows her hair unstyled, usually opting for extensions, which add length and volume to her hair. So in the Christmas Eve TikTok, some were surprised to see what she looked like without any additional styling. In the video, Kardashian is seen lip-syncing to "Baby It's Cold Outside," freshly showered and dressed in a pair of matching Skims pyjamas. Her hair, bleached and parted to one side, just reaches her collarbone, shocking those who might have thought her waist-length hair was all natural.
In their reactions, some fans pointed out that it was good for Kardashian to keep it real and make it clear that many of her looks are only achievable with the help of extensions or wigs. Others marvelled that her hair appeared to have some damage, citing her access to high-end products and hairstylists. Ultimately, though, some damage is inevitable, especially when you style and colour your hair with regularity (as many fans reminded the critics).
