I Got a Liquid Nose Job: See Before and After Photos

I Got the "Liquid Nose Job" After Seeing It All Over TikTok

I haven't been overly conscious of my nose shape, but there have been plenty of times when I've seen my side profile in a selfie and daydreamed about getting rid of the bump. After researching what goes into a rhinoplasty procedure, I decided I didn't want to go through with a permanent surgery, especially since I was getting married. However, thanks to TikTok, I came across a noninvasive treatment called the "liquid nose job," which uses hyaluronic-acid fillers, that piqued my interest. A nose job without the knife and no recovery downtime? Count me in.

Living in New York, there are countless places to get cosmetic work done. I've been following BeautyFix MedSpa on Instagram for a while now, and the practice — with three locations in New York: Upper East Side, Flatiron District, and Westchester — coincidentally offers "simple, safe, nonsurgical treatments to help rejuvenate your natural beauty, with no downtime," according to the website.

Depending on where you live and where you go to get the procedure, the prices for nose filler can vary anywhere between $800 to $2,000. At BeautyFix Medspa, the Rhino Fillers start around $1,500. I decided to book an appointment and see what the hype was about.

From start to finish, the procedure took around 10 minutes to do. To get rid of the bump appearance, the practitioner injected the filler into the area around my nose, the tip to give a lifted effect, and the bridge of my nose itself.

To my surprise, it wasn't painful at all, despite being my first time getting filler. I've had Botox before, and this had a similar pinch feeling to that, but nothing major. Plus, the practitioner numbed my nose beforehand, which definitely helped.

I was told results of a nonsurgical rhinoplasty can last between nine months to two years. (The doctor mentioned it's typical to come back after two weeks to make sure I don't need to either add more filler or confirm whether the amount used is best for long-lasting results.)

The best part of it all? The results were immediate, and I had a new side profile within minutes by subtly straightening the bridge and lifting the tip.

While I'm all for embracing natural beauty, this treatment was completely worth it for me, and I'm obsessed with the outcome. It brings out my other features and gives me the softer, more symmetrical profile I was hoping for. If you're considering it yourself, make sure you do your research on practitioners or dermatologists to ensure a safe, seamless procedure.
