Chanel crosses the Channel with its Chanel Paris-Édimbourg Eau de Toilette Spray (£112), which is meant to evoke the Scottish countryside. A fragrance that's both earthy and fresh, at first spritz it has an icy quality that's as invigorating as taking a deep breath on chilly day. What we love the most, however, is that in addition to all of the woody and aromatic notes, like juniper berry, cypress, cedar and vetiver, there's also a hint of warmth courtesy of vanilla and musk that give the fragrance a smooth, comforting quality.
