Byredo Colour Sticks

Byredo's first foray into makeup — in collaboration with London-based makeup artist Isamaya Ffrench — is quite possibly one of the most exciting beauty launches of the entire year. Colourful, inclusive, and surprisingly user-friendly, the collection absolutely lives up to all of the anticipation and expectations. The range includes a defining mascara, a black liquid liner, a lip balm, a powder eye shadow palette (that comes in three colourways), lipstick (which is incredibly pigmented), and last by not least, the Byredo Colour Sticks (£26 each), shown here.

The Colour Stick comes in 16 shades that either have a glossy, metallic, and glitter finish. There are bold colours like Sick Pink, Sauce, and four different gorgeous shades of blue (Kinda Blue, Purple Stinger, Ultramagnetic, and Medium Blue), an inky black (Destroyer), a few gorgeous neutrals (La Scène, Great Sands, Ancient, and Vienna, which can double as a dewy highlighter), and a few vintage-y colours that we can't wait to wear all autumn (Kumato, Sauce, and Babi). What's truly unique about the Colour Sticks, though, is that it allows you to play with unique and vivid colours in an incredibly easy way. The fact it's a stick means you just swipe it on, and the pigment has a lot of play time, meaning it's very easy to blend and diffuse — whether you prefer to use a brush or get artsy with your fingertips.
