Autumn 2021 Hair Colour Trend: Tip Dye

Tip dye has arrived — and no, that's not a typo. Forget everything you knew about DIY dip dye jobs at home and welcome her fancy cousin: tip dye. "This trend is similar to dip dye, but instead of doing midlengths and ends of the hair, it's about just colouring the very tips," said John Alfred, colourist at Paul Edmonds Salons in London. "It's low-commitment because once you get bored of it, you can simply change the colour or chop it off altogether." The colour combinations are endless but we're particularly loving this pastel hue (which is one of Alfred's favourites) and the Cruella de Vil-inspired look.
