The Skingredients AHA Cleanse (£28, refill £25) is the newest addition to the Skingredients range — the first product Rock has launched since she came out with the line. The cream-based treatment cleanser contains polyhydroxy acid and lactic acid that manages to exfoliate and hydrate the skin at the same time. "You get that kind of instant gratification — your skin feels smooth, bright, and fresh — but you're not causing the stratum corneum to be compromised by them. That was the premise behind it."
Rock added: "I felt that there was a need for an exfoliating cleanser for someone whose skin is kind of dull, lethargic, pigment-prone, and who doesn't need salicylic acid and the PrePro cleanser wasn't doing enough for them. And I'm a big believer in polyhydroxy acids. I know they're trendy now, but for me, for the last two decades of my life, they've been a key staple and I'll get them in any brand I could, which is why they had to feature in my brand."
