Sofia Richie Re-Creates Her Wedding Makeup Look: "Keep It Super Simple"

Sofia Richie is throwing it back to April 22 with her latest TikTok makeup tutorial. On June 23, the model attempted to re-create her wedding makeup look all on her own for the first time. Since she walked down the aisle with Elliot Grainge in April, Richie's understated, but glam look has been recreated over and over again by fans online. With that in mind, she decided to try her own hand at DIY-ing her wedding look.

"So I've seen a lot of you re-create my wedding makeup on your TikToks, and I'm so curious to see if I can recreate it on myself," Richie said at the beginning of part one of her tutorial. For her wedding day, the 24-year-old had professional makeup artist Pati Dubroff handling her makeup. Shortly after the wedding, Dubroff shared her own tutorial with a full rundown of every product she used. "Sofia's wedding makeup was really all about just like fresh, clean, glowy," she said at the time.

Like her fans, Richie didn't have the entire selection of products Dubroff used to create her timeless look when she filmed her tutorial. But even without the full lineup of makeup, she still managed to achieve a glowy, fresh look in a matter of minutes. As she applied her foundation, Richie shared that she told Dubroff that she didn't want anything "too heavy" for her wedding day. Instead, her goal was to cover any blemishes, and "keep it super simple," but still "elegant and pretty."

Among the products Richie uses in the video is Maybelline Lash Sensational Waterproof Mascara, which she revealed was one of the only products she specifically requested for Dubroff to use. The superstore find is both affordable (it retails for $12) and creates dramatic lashes with little effort.

She also noted that due to her seven minute walk down the aisle in the heat of the South of France, she did have Dubroff powder her T-zone, so she "wouldn't be dripping sweat." Check out Richie's full tutorial below.
