Aviel's Essentials For a Weekend Away

If spending a weekend holed up in a Winter cabin with your closest friends doesn't scream cosy, we don't know what does. With an upcoming skiing trip on the books, Aviel is all about beauty essentials to keep dry, flaky skin and lips at bay.

"This season, I'll be celebrating a friend's birthday with a skiing trip. Since I try to avoid the cold at all costs, I'll likely be spending most of my time in the cabin! I can't wait to be lounging by a fire, eating indulgent meals together, and teaching a few low-key yoga classes to my friends."

"My skincare regimen is all about hydration, so I'm going to have to be extra conscious of keeping my skin happy and hydrated in the mountain air. An intensely hydrating eos lip balm, toning mist, hyaluronic acid serum, and supercreamy moisturiser at night are my go-tos. I also don't leave the house without putting on a high-SPF sunscreen to protect my face from the Winter sun."

Maria's Essentials For Hosting an Intimate Get-Together

Winter is the perfect opportunity to focus on quality family time. For Maria, there's no better way to do that than to host all her loved ones under one cosy roof. And as the resident hostess with the mostest, Maria's got throwing a party down to an art form — including her foolproof beauty look.

"As a Latina, the festive season is extremely important because it means spending time with my family. Living away from home, I love hosting my chosen family: my friends. They ground me, give me a sense of belonging, and they bring me joy. I usually keep it casual with a good cheese board, charcuterie, finger sandwiches, mini cakes, and macarons. Paired with a nice selection of wines, it makes for an unforgettable night full of laughter and new memories."

"To me, part of hosting means looking my best. The same love I put into making every single detail perfect, I put into myself. I use a charcoal-infused moisturiser because it makes my face feel fresh and ready to take on the night. Then, I love making a statement with my makeup and applying golden tones that remind me of the sunsets back home. For the lips, I always go with eos lip balm. The new Pineapple Passionfruit flavour really brings back memories of home and makes me feel warm and cosy, even in the coldest of Winters. To finish my prep for the night, I use volumising hairspray to make sure my hair stays in place and none of it gets on the food."

Stephanie's Essentials For a Cosy Night In

If you're in the mood for hibernating, Stephanie has the recipe for a cosy night in, and it involves plenty of pampering. With nowhere to be and nobody to see, it's a chance to invest in self-care and really take your time nourishing your hair, skin, and lips.

"There's nothing I love more than spending a free evening at home, especially during the colder months. It's my time to decompress, recharge, and enjoy some uninterrupted me-time. That usually means a hot shower, plenty of candles, and a complete head-to-toe beauty routine using my favourite products. The end goal is soft hair, skin, and lips."

"After lighting a few candles (I love something warm and spicy for Winter), I'll hop in the shower and take my time dry-brushing my skin and applying a deep conditioning hair mask. I normally don't have time to do this, so it's a real treat on the days that I do. Afterwards, I'll indulge in a clay face mask and moisturise my whole body, before swiping on eos lip balm with shea butter for 24-hour hydration."
