Amal Clooney Squeezes In a Romantic Birthday Celebration For George Ahead of the Met Gala
Amal Clooney may be busy getting ready to host the Met Gala, but you better believe she squeezed in a special date night for George Clooney's 57th birthday. On Sunday, the couple stepped out for dinner at NYC's Laconda Verde restaurant in colour-coordinated outfits. Amal and George were as cute as ever as they held hands and flashed big smiles while making their way back to their car.
Amal will be serving as one of the cohosts of this year's Met Gala, along with Rihanna, Donatella Versace, and Vogue's Editor in Chief Anna Wintour. The theme for Monday's event is "Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination," which focuses on fashion and religion. The last time we saw George and Amal on a red carpet was back in October 2017 at the LA premiere of Suburbicon, so we're definitely looking forward to seeing them together again!
