Exactly one year later, on 8 Jan., 2020, the "Montero" singer reenacted the video, pizza and all, to reflect on his newfound success. "A year ago, I put out 'Old Town Road.' It did pretty f*cking good," he said. "I'm at five million on Instagram, eight million on YouTube, and around 30 million Spotify listeners. It's been a year, and I just want to give a big thank you to everybody who's helped me get to where I am. I'll be back with you guys 10 years from now and we'll see where I'm at."
