Cher Lloyd Gives Birth to Baby No.2

Cher Lloyd Welcomes Baby No.2, and Her Name Is a Floral Surprise

Cher Lloyd is officially a mum of two! The former "The X Factor" contestant announced the news on Instagram on 13 Sept. via a sweet photo of her new addition. Lloyd shared the black and white photo of her with the caption: "ELIZA VIOLET 9/9/23 💜". Lloyd is also mum to 5-year-old daughter Delilah-Rae Monk, whom she shares with husband Craig Monk.

While she has previously kept her eldest largely off social media, Lloyd has been keeping fans updated with her pregnancy journey. She announced the news that she was expecting back in April via a video of a cute baby outfit next to her ultrasound scan picture. Later, Lloyd revealed in July that she had been diagnosed with gestational diabetes, a condition that can develop during pregnancy and needs to be closely monitored, as well as sharing a number of photos of her growing baby bump.

The singer, who turned 30 in July, shot to fame when she came fourth on ITV's "The X Factor" at just 16 years old. She signed to Syco music soon after and reached no.1 in the UK charts with her debut single, "Swagger Jagger". She has continued to release music with her last single released in 2020.

Lloyd married Monk in 2013 in a secret wedding a year after getting together. They had their first child in 2018, and now have a second joining their family. The couple join the likes of Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury's daughter Bambi, Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash's baby Belle, and "Made in Chelsea"'s Ollie and Gareth Locke-Locke's twins in new 2023 arrivals. And we can't wait to see more of them all grow up!
