Christina Aguilera is offering a rare glimpse into her relationship with her youngest child. On 16 Aug., the 42-year-old singer and fashion risk-taker celebrated daughter Summer Rain's ninth birthday on Instagram, posting photos and videos of the pair sharing the stage a few days prior. The mum of two concluded her 10 Aug. concert in Israel with a performance of her hit "Let There Be Love," in which she brought out Summer to dance and take a final bow alongside her in front of the large crowd.
"Every day, I thank the universe for gifting me the privilege of being your momma."
"Today I find myself reflecting on how fast time has gone by," Aguilera, who recently launched her own line of personal lubricants, captioned the heartwarming post. "These 9 years have been filled with boundless love, heartwarming hugs, staying up too late, Disney adventures, and most recently, the joy of gracing the stage alongside you."
She continued, "Every day, I thank the universe for gifting me the privilege of being your momma, a role that stands as my ultimate accomplishment. Witnessing the remarkable young woman you are evolving into fills me with immense pride. Mommy loves you so much!"
The star shares Summer with her fiancé of almost a decade, Matthew Rutler, an executive at MasterClass. The two welcomed their daughter in 2014, shortly after announcing their engagement. Aguilera is also mum to 15-year-old son Max, who she coparents with ex-husband Jordan Bratman. While it's not often she shares photos of her kids, she's recently posted glimpses of her daughter on tour and fun family outings.
