Olly Murs and Amelia Tank Throw Festival-Themed Wedding on Private Island
Congratulations are in order! Olly Murs and Amelia Tank tied the knot on 16 July after three years dating.
Giving a whole new meaning to a festival fling, the pair – who met via Instagram in 2019 – threw a festival-themed wedding on a private island in Essex called Osea Island. According to MailOnline, wedding guests were seen arriving in coaches to the island for the unconventional celebrations.
The 380-acre island is owned by music producer Nigel Frieda, and is located in the estuary of the River Blackwater. People can only get to the island for a limited time each day due to an estuary that surrounds it. They decked out the island for the occasion with a giant ferris wheel and even had an aeroplane fly over with a banner which read: "Olly & Amelia just married".
Whilst neither the singer, 39, or the bodybuilder, 31, have posted their own pictures of their special day on Instagram, their friend and "The Only Way Is Essex" star Mark Wright shared a glimpse of the ceremony on his story. "Celebrating this one @ollymurs and @tankintraining wedding day," he began with a cheeky selfie of himself and Murs in festival gear (bucket hats, and all). "Love you both x".

The "X Factor" runner-up and his partner announced that they got engaged last summer on a beach trip. The "Troublemaker" singer shared an adorable snap of themselves hugging by a cliff, with the caption: "04.06.2022 💍 Amelia Tank 🤍".
The pair have joined a slew of celebrity weddings this year, including fellow "X-Factor" star Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Andre Grey, who tied the knot in June in Barbados, and Sophie Habboo and Jamie Laing who had two weddings; one in London, and the other in Spain. One thing is for sure, 2023's soundtrack is wedding bells, and we're not mad about it.
