Kelly Osbourne Shares the First Photo of Her Baby Son Sidney Alongside His Uncle Jack
Little Sidney Wilson just made his official social media debut. Well, at least the back of his head did. On Friday, 3 March, Kelly Osbourne shared the first photo of her son, Sidney, hanging out with his uncle, her brother, Jack Osbourne.
In the Instagram photo, Kelly is holding Sidney, who is reaching for his mum's necklace. Jack stands beside them pointing excitedly at his nephew's little head. "The Osbournes" star captioned the photo with a quote about the special bond between uncles and their nephews and nieces. "An uncle is a blessing. It means so many things. Words could never tell the joy an uncle brings. An uncle is a bond of faith that even time can't sever, a gift to last all of our lives. An uncle is forever. - Irene Banks," she wrote.
Kelly and her partner, Slipknot member Sid Wilson, welcomed their first child near the end of 2022. The reality TV star's mom, Sharon Osbourne, first revealed the news of her grandson's arrival during an episode of the UK series "The Talk." "They're just so, so great. So great," Sharon said before adding that her daughter wasn't ready to share her son with the world just yet. "She won't let a picture go out of him. No, and I'm so proud of her."
At the time, Sharon also revealed the baby's name, which led to Kelly calling out her mum on Instagram. On 5 Jan., she shared an Instagram Story that read, "I am not ready to share him with the world. It is no one's place but mine to share any information on my baby." Now that Sidney is getting a bit older, it seems Kelly is more comfortable sharing glimpses of her son on social media — as long as it's on her own terms.
It seems extra fitting that her baby made his big debut alongside a photo of his uncle. In March 2022, Kelly hinted that she was expecting in a comment on Jack and his fiancée Aree Gearhart's post announcing they were expecting a daughter, Maple, who arrived in July. (Jack is also dad to daughters Pearl, Andy, and Minnie, whom he shares with his ex-wife Lisa Stelly.) "Outside of you and jack there is no one more excited for this baby and you know why!!!!!!!!" Kelly commented on Gearhart's post at the time.
Given how close in age Sidney and Maple are, it's likely the little cousins will be almost as close as Kelly is with her little brother. One thing is certain, Jack is already embracing his new role as an uncle.
