Lukas Gage Hits the Red Carpet With Chris Appleton After Addressing Dating Rumours
Lukas Gage and Chris Appleton walked their first red carpet together after the former demurred about the nature of their relationship. The "You" actor and celebrity hairstylist attended Vanity Fair and TikTok's A Night For Young Hollywood party in Los Angeles on 8 March. They posed side by side on the red carpet, both dressed to impress: Gage, 27, wore a white mock-neck top tucked into matching trousers with white trainers, while Appleton, 39, layered a silky white button-down under a black suit.
Their appearance comes just a few weeks after they shared Instagram photos from an action-packed holiday in Mexico. In the comments on each other's posts, Gage wrote, "Buenos 😍," and Appleton wrote, "Stud 😍." At the time, neither publicly defined their relationship, and in a March interview with the New York Times, Gage discussed whether the photos were a hard-launch for their budding romance, as many fans assumed.
"If they want to think that, they can," he said. "I'm a pretty open book about most things in my life, but I have a problem with the culture of everyone needing to know everybody's business and nothing can be sacred. It's a weird line that I'm still trying to figure out." Gage's reps did not immediately respond to POPSUGAR's request for comment about his recent outing with Appleton.
Gage and Appleton were in talented company at the A Night For Young Hollywood event. Oscar nominee Paul Mescal brought his brother and sister to the celebration, Halle Bailey made a stunning entrance in a red cutout gown, "Outer Banks" star Madison Bailey walked the red carpet with girlfriend Mariah Linney, and "Never Have I Ever" costars Maitreyi Ramakrishnan and Megan Suri were also on the guest list. Other attendees included Julia Garner, Jonathan Daviss, Megan Stalter, Lucien Laviscount, Maggie Rogers, and Hunter Doohan.
