Madonna Hints That She Is Gay in Viral TikTok Video

Madonna's latest TikTok video set social media alight on 9 Oct. as she hinted that she is gay. The singer's video, which has garnered nearly 15 million views at the time of writing, shows the star standing in her luxuriously ornate bathroom and attempting to throw a pair of pink knickers into the bin from the other side of the room in the viral challenge.

Sporting pink Barbiecore hair, the mum-of-six captioned the clip with "If I miss, I'm Gay!" Wearing a cream coned bustier over a sheer t-shirt with wide-leg trousers, the video then follows the pink pants as they fall short of the bin. Cutting back to Madonna, the star simply stares into the camera and raises her hand to acknowledge the miss.

Fans went wild in the comment section, with one stating, "We are witnessing herstory", while other deduced that Madonna has been bisexual for years, writing "Madonna has been an out bisexual for literally decades my dudes 😂". The "Material Girl" had previously stated in a 1991 interview with The Advocate: "I think everybody has a bisexual nature."

Madonna has been married to Sean Penn and Guy Ritchie, and been linked with celebrities including Tupac and Dennis Rodman, as well as sharing her daughter Lourdes Leon with fitness instructor Carlos Leon. She famously shared a kiss with Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera at the 2003 MTV Video Music Awards, which she reportedly recreated at Spears's wedding. Madonna has most recently released a version of her 2005 song "Hung Up", renamed "Hung Up on Tokischa". The video, which features the Dominican rapper Tokischa, shows the pair kissing. Madonna has not responded to the TikTok video.
