Little Malti Marie Chopra Jonas just made her first public appearance alongside her mum and dad, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas. The family of three attended the Jonas Brothers' Hollywood Walk of Fame star ceremony together on 30 Jan., where the 1-year-old sat on Chopra's lap in the second row as her dad and uncles accepted their star.

Since she was born in January 2022, Chopra and Nick have been diligent about maintaining their daughter's privacy on social media. The proud parents often share photos of their daughter, which always either feature a white heart emoji over Malti's face or show her facing away from the camera. That makes her public debut in support of her dad all the more special.

Nick even gave his daughter a shout-out during his acceptance speech. "To my beautiful wife, you are the calm in the crazy, the rock in the storm, and I love being married to you. It is the greatest gift. I love being a parent with you, so Malti Marie," he said. "Hi baby! I can't wait to come here with you in 15 years and embarrass you in front of your friends."

For her part, Malti seemed to be happy holding her mom's hand and rocking an adorable white bow throughout the ceremony. She was joined by some of her cousins, Kevin and Danielle Jonas's daughters Valentina and Alena. Meanwhile, Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas didn't appear to bring their daughters (Willa and their newborn whose name has not yet been shared) to the ceremony.

In addition to Malti making her public debut at the ceremony, the Jonas Brothers also announced their sixth album, titled "The Album," will be released this spring. "It's nice to reflect on this nearly 20-year journey and to commemorate it here today, but we're looking towards the future and what's coming next," Nick said. "So with that, I think that we should make a quick announcement. We are excited to announce today that our new album, 'The Album,' will be coming out May 5th, and we can't wait to see you on tour later this year."

Elsewhere, on 23 Jan., Chopra opened up in an interview with British Vogue about why she's so protective of Malti, who was born prematurely via surrogate and spent more than 100 days in the NICU. "I've developed a tough hide when people talk about me," she explained. "But it's so painful when they talk about my daughter. I'm like, 'Keep her out of it.' I know what it felt like to hold her little hands when they were trying to find her veins. So no, she's not going to be gossip. I've been really protective of this chapter of my life with my daughter. Because it's not about my life only. It's hers too."
