North West's Yeezy Design Sketches Reaffirm Her Fashion Icon Status
North West may only be 9, but Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's eldest child is already a rising fashion star. She recently took Paris Fashion Week by storm with her oversized sweatshirts and faux nose ring accessory, and now thanks to her mom's Instagram Story, it's clear North has a talent for design as well. On Friday, Kardashian shared two photos featuring her daughter's Yeezy design sketches, and it looks like she might just be the future of her famous dad's company.
It seems North was given some spare fabric and a sharpie to work on her designs in between modelling some silver shades from West's Yeezy line. The two sketches Kardashian shared to her Instagram Story both feature out of this world characters. One of the sketches features what appears to be an alien with a long tongue coming out of its mouth and three braids on either side of its head. The second sketch looks to be inspired by the sunglasses that North was modelling. The character is not only rocking Yeezy shades, it also has a braid attached above its lip, either as a tongue or perhaps a unique hair accessory.
Either way, the sketches show off North's artistic talents and creativity. While she had the assistance of a stylist at Paris Fashion Week, the young fashion star clearly knows how to create bold style statements all on her own. She still has plenty of time to choose a career path, but no matter what North ends up doing in the future, her status as a style icon will surely only grow in the years to come.
