Oti Mabuse Is Pregnant With Her First Child

Former "Strictly Come Dancing" professional Oti Mabuse is pregnant with her first child. The TV personality revealed the happy news on 26 August during her ITV Breakfast show. Joined by her Romanian dancer husband Marius Lepure, the couple addressed the audience at the end of the show by sharing their surprise news and exclaiming: "We're having a baby!"

Moments after the show, Mabuse took to Instagram to add a carousel of photos of the couple holding her growing bump. "We feel finally ready and excited to share our wonderful news. This is new for us scarier than swimming with sharks, jumping off cliffs or even swinging from bridges but the best news we could have ever ask for," she wrote in the caption before adding that "Christmas is about to get even louder".

Their famous friends jumped in the comments to with them all the love at their surprise revelation. "HOORAY XXXX," wrote "Strictly" host Claudia Winkleman, while Vicky Pattison added, "Oti!!!! What the hell???! How didn't I realise?!! Omg! You look amazing and congratulations".

Mabuse and Lepure met during a dance trial in Germany and began dating. They got married in 2014 and later moved to England for Mabuse to appear as a professional dancer on the ITV reality show. Meanwhile Lepure has been fulfilling his own TV career having appeared on two seasons of Germany's "Let's Dance". While Mabuse was a firm fan-favourite, she left the show in 2021 having won the Glitterball twice, and has gone on to become a TV staple on "Dancing on Ice" and "The Masked Dancer".

Mabuse hinted in her Instagram caption that their new arrival might not be too far away as she joins the likes of Scarlett Moffatt and Molly-Mae Hague in becoming a first-time mum in 2023. While Mabuse has long been lighting up our TV screens, we have a feeling nothing will be quite as rewarding as this next chapter.
