Daryl, who was known as one half of the '70s music duo The Captain & Tennille, died of kidney failure on Jan. 2. He was 76. His musical counterpart and ex-wife, Toni Tennille, was by his side at the time of his passing. "He was a brilliant musician with many friends who loved him greatly," Toni said in a statement. "I was at my most creative in my life when I was with him."
