On a 2022 episode of her "Archetypes" podcast, Markle reveals she and Sophie have been friends for about seven years and met at the Canadian Arts and Fashion Awards. During the same episode, on which Sophie was a guest, the pair revealed they threw a pool party at Markle's house in Montecito over the summer where they "giggled like schoolgirls."
